In 1999 she moved to Mexico where she has been involved in different programs in her community, mostly with regards to youth, amongst these, a mentoring program for underprivileged teens as well as a classical music programme for youth.
In 2017 she began her training at Remus y Asociados in executive coaching, obtaining the Mexican certification (CONOCER) in January 2019.
Margrita became very passionate about coaching and because she was working with adolescents, decided to initiate her training at the Youth Coaching Institute.
In March 2020 she became a certified Youth Mentor Coach and a Certified Leadership Coach.
She was a coach training assistant at the Youth Coaching Institute where she assisted in training future youth coaches and now works as a coaching practice evaluator.
She now also has the Mexican nationality and lives with her husband, three children and dog Bagheera in Ajijic a picturesque village in between the mountains and Mexico’s largest lake. She loves hiking, travelling, reading and being with friends and family.
